Blogging, and being successful at it, requires diligence and persistence. Depending on where you blog, too, it requires A LOT of work a backlinking (linking to other sites, which ranks you well with Google).
ReplyDeleteI have two websites, one of which is fairly new and struggling, because I don't have enough backlinks, and therefore no traffic, and hence no $.
The other site is a viral blogging system, where I blog daily (be it speed blogging, in depth, whatever I want), use commonsense on and offsite SEO, and get traffic to my blog.
Of course, it's not usually as easy as that, but with the viral blogging platform it is, because it ALREADY ranks so well in Google. It has 40,000 backlinks, and ranks 212 in the US with alexa.
So what does that mean? It means that by simply blogging intelligenetly, I will get traffic to my blog--and hence get paid.
IT doesn't come near sites such as Blogertizer, that pay you for blogging, because 1) It outranks Blogertizer like its nobody's business, and 2) It pays 100%, residual commissions.
So yes, blogging can be a money making income, but either you have to be willing to wait around for the traffic and cash, or you join a viral blogging system that does it for you...Marjorie
